POK combines experience and cynological tradition with a modern approach to breeding. The organisation emphasises responsible breeding, canine health, knowledge, research, conscious selection and transparent breeding documentation.

Pedigrees issued by POK contain four generations of ancestors and are prepared with security features designed to protect the document against forgery.
